Model Information

Intermountain 2980 cubic foot 2 bay covered hopper. Intermountain makes terrific kits, and this has been recently upgraded with the metal walkways vs. the plastic they used to use. The profile of the running board is much better. Starting with an undecorated kit, this car has had a few things done for it: - Graffiti is a combination of custom-made decals and hand-written tags - Weathering- a mixture of chalk, airbrush, oil paint and colored pencil I’m pleased with the result, and it makes a nice car for any pike. Car had additional weight added. The wheels were replaced with metal 36 inch wheels (weathered, of course). The couplers are Kadee Number 5’s.
