I have recently rediscovered my interest in painting fantasy figures. I ran across an article somewhere talking about Kickstarter, the fund-raising platform. One of the projects they cited was a fund-raising effort put on by Reaper Miniatures.
I invested $100 in their Vampire Pledge level. For that fundraising (which I didn't know at the time), each successive fund-raising milestone Reaper achieved added more prizes to the prior levels' backers. Eventually I wound up with a box of over 200 figures to paint!
I decided to split these with my son, so we did a schoolyard pick-em to divide up a large block of these (enough to work on for a long time).
