Project Background |
Branchline Berwick kits are easy, fun, and a very common prototype with lots of possibilities. I've made a bunch into FXE cars, and have more shortlines in the works.
The highlight of this car is the large tag on one side, which I originally made into a decal which has been sitting in my box for years. I finally decided to "use" it, but painted the tag instead of using the decal. It came out close, but a little tall. Still, here we are.
The Build |
No modifications
Painting & Weathering |
Used a dilute acrylic craft paint through the airbrush. I've started using some of these, because of the incredible variety of colors available, and generally had good results (though it often takes >1 coat).
Summary |
Not a bad outcome.
