Prototype Information

UP Centerbeam. 60' shorter version prior to introduction of 72' cars.

Model Information

Front Range made a 60' center beam flatcar, a real bear to assemble. However, with a load it actually starts to look ok, and adds variety to the rolling stock fleet. The Exactrail cars are much, much nicer, though fairly pricey too. I think given the complexity of the prototype, developing a value-priced centerbeam would be a real challenge.
