PC&F 10'6" plug door boxcar.

Model Information

Athearn Genesis boxcar, PC&F model. Excellent starting point for projects. I completely repainted to get the blue shade I wanted (a bit lighter than stock model). I have other methods of fading cars, but a blue this dark presents a challenge to the dollops of white oil paint. I could have tried the thin wash, per Gary's tips at the rustbucket forum, but sometimes we go with what we know.
